At 1st Touch Football Kickz, we are committed to providing a welcoming, caring, friendly and safe environment for all children attending any of our sessions. Bullying of any kind is not tolerated at 1st Touch Football Kickz and we take a proactive approach to ensure every child feels respected, valued and supported.
Should any type of incident occur, it will be dealt with promptly and effectively by the coaching team. We are a TELLING organisation. This means that anyone who knows that bullying is happening is expected to tell one of the 1st Touch Football staff. We are committed to playing our part in educating children to treat each other with respect and kindness.
Bullying is the use of aggression with the intention of hurting another person. Bullying results in pain and distress to the victim.
What is Bullying?
Bullying is any deliberate, hurtful behaviour—whether verbal, physical, emotional, or cyber—that is intended to harm, intimidate, or exclude an individual. This can include:

– Spreading rumours or intentionally hurting someone’s feelings.

– Address bullying incidents with sensitivity and fairness, ensuring appropriate actions are taken.
Reporting and Addressing Bullying
– Any incidents of bullying should be reported to a coach or staff member immediately.
– All reports will be taken seriously and handled confidentially.
– Steps to resolve bullying may include:
– Speaking with the individuals involved to understand the situation.
– Implementing appropriate actions, such as mediation, support, or consequences.

Preventing Bullying
