of Conduct
At 1st Touch Football Kickz, we believe that football is more than a game—it’s a chance to learn, grow, and enjoy yourself in a positive and inclusive environment. To make sure that every session is fun, safe, and rewarding for everyone, we ask all children to follow our Code of Conduct:
Respect and Sportsmanship
1. Treat your teammates, opponents, coaches, and referees with respect at all times.
2. Be kind and supportive to others, whether they win, lose, or make mistakes.
3. Avoid using inappropriate language or hurtful behavior during sessions.
4. Show respect for the rules of the game and decisions made by referees or coaches.
Effort and Attitude
1. Always try your best, even when things are challenging.
2. Come to sessions ready to learn and play with a positive attitude.
3. Accept constructive feedback from coaches as a way to improve and grow.
Teamwork and Collaboration
1. Work together with your teammates to achieve shared goals.
2. Celebrate the successes of your team and encourage others when they need support.
3. Understand that football is about more than individual achievement—it’s about playing as part of a team.
Fair Play
1. Play the game fairly and follow the rules, even in competitive situations.
2. Avoid actions that could hurt others, whether intentional or accidental.
3. Take pride in good sportsmanship by showing respect for your opponents and the spirit of the game.
Safety and Responsibility
1. Listen to your coach’s instructions and follow them carefully to stay safe.
2. Be mindful of the equipment, ensuring it is used appropriately and safely.
3. Stay within designated areas during sessions, and inform a coach if you need assistance.
4. Help look out for the well-being of others during play.
Inclusivity and Positivity
1. Welcome new players and treat everyone equally, regardless of skill level, background, or abilities.
2. Encourage your teammates with positive words and actions.
3. Create an atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable to play and participate.
Accountability
1. Take responsibility for your behavior and actions during sessions.
2. If you make a mistake or upset someone, apologize and try to make things right.
3. Always represent yourself and 1st Touch Football Kickz in a way that reflects kindness, integrity, and respect.
Consequences
Failure to follow the Code of Conduct may lead to:
– A discussion with your coach to understand and address the issue.
– Temporary removal from activities or sessions if necessary.
– Parents or guardians being informed of repeated or serious concerns.
